REMINDER! A' Selection Competition for the International Mathematics Competitions ΙΜΟ, EGMO, MYMC, ΒΜΟ, JBMO 2022

All the students for all the levels of Gymnasium and Lyceum who have qualified from the Pancyprian Mathematics Competitions, that took place on the 18th of December 2021, have the right to participate in the A' Selection Competition for the International Mathematics Competitions JBMO, BMO, EGMO, MYMC and IMO 2022, that will take place on Saturday, 29 of January 2022, at 10:00-14:30, at the Latsia Lyceum in Nicosia (and not the Cyprus Pedagogical Institute)  and Laniteio Lyceum in Limassol.

Students from the Districts of Nicosia, Larnaka and Famagusta will attend the examination at the Latsia Lyceum in Nicosia. Students from the Districts of Limassol and Paphos will attend the examination at the Laniteio Lyceum in Limassol. In order to apply all the Safety and Health Protocols, we ask you that the above separation is strictly followed. 

Students must be at the exam center at least 30 minutes earlier than the time the exam starts. 

During the exam, as well as during the entry and exit of students in the examination centers, the rules of Safety and Health Protocol, valid during the day of the exam, will be applied. We follow the protocols applied in Secondary Schools. 

• For their entrance in the Exam Center, ALL student contestants must present their safe pass. 
• GYMNASIUM and LYCEUM students must present one (1) of the following VALID certificates, either in electronic or printed form:

1. A negative PCR or Rapid test with a 72-hour validity period. 
2. Certificate of complete Vaccination (two doses) for Covid-19. 
3. Certificate of Recovery form Covid-19 with a validity period of 180 days. 

• It is understood that students of Public or Private schools who will not present one of the above certificates or their certificate is not valid on the day of the exam, will not be accepted in the exam centers. 

• It is mandatory for the students of the Gymnasium and Lyceum to wear a mask inside and outside the examination rooms.

• Student contestants must arrive at the exam center at least thirty (30) minutes earlier to the start of the test.
• The contestants will enter the examination center alone, without being accompanied by their parents. The organizers will direct students to their examination room.
• Parents will be waiting outside the school/examination center.
