PANCYPRIAN MATHEMATICS COMPETITION 2021-2022

The Cyprus Mathematical Society Board, reminds all students of the 5th and 6th Grade of Primary School and all grades of Gymnasium and Lyceum (7th to 12th Grade), who have been qualified in the Regional Mathematics Competition which took place on November 13, 2021, that they have the right to participate in the Pancyprian Mathematics Competition, which will take place this Saturday, 18 of December, 2021, at 9:30-11:30 for the Primary School and at 9:30-12:30 for the Gymnasium and Lyceum, at the following examination centers:

Nicosia: Latsia Lyceum

Limassol: Laniteio Lyceum

Larnaka: Vergina Lyceum

Ammochostos: Paralimni Lyceun

Pafos: Kykkos Lyseum

Students who have the right to participate in the Competition are the ones announced in the post for the Regional Competition Results. During the exam, as well as during the entry and exit of students in the examination centers, the rules of Safety and Health Protocol, valid during the day of the exam, will be applied.

• For their entrance in the Exam Center, ALL student contestants must present their safe pass. 
• PRIMARY SCHOOL students must present one (1) of the following VALID certificates, either in electronic or printed form:

1. A negative PCR or Rapid test with sampling performed within one week (7 days validity period)
2. Proof that a student has contracted Covid-19 in the last 6 months. Students can present the text release message or the recovery text message, sent to them by the Ministry of Health on their mobile phone.

• GYMNASIUM and LYCEUM students must present one (1) of the following VALID certificates, either in electronic or printed form:

1. A negative PCR or Rapid test with a 72-hour validity period. 
2. Vaccination certificate with at least one dose, including completion of a three week post-vaccination. You can present the Vaccination Card issued by the Vaccination Centers. 
3. Proof that a student has contracted Covid-19 in the last 6 months. Students can present the text release message or the recovery text message, sent to them by the Ministry of Health on their mobile phone.

• It is understood that students of Public or Private schools who will not present one of the above certificates or their certificate is not valid on the day of the exam, will not be accepted in the exam centers. 

• It is mandatory for the students of the 5th and 6th Grade of Primary School to wear a mask inside and outside the examination rooms.

• It is mandatory for the students of the Gymnasium and Lyceum to wear a mask inside and outside the examination rooms.
• Student contestants must arrive at the exam center at least thirty (30) minutes earlier to the start of the test.
• The contestants will enter the examination center alone, without being accompanied by their parents. The organizers will direct students to their examination room.
• Parents will be waiting outside the school/examination center.
